During a side-lying pregnancy massage, you are positioned comfortably on your side using supportive pillows and bolsters to fully support your bump, back, hips and legs. This position is considered one of the safest and most comfortable throughout pregnancy.
What happens during the massage:
• You will be gently supported so there is no pressure on the tummy
• Ilze IK Massage & Therapies works on the back, shoulders and neck to ease tension
• The hips, glutes and lower back are treated to relieve pelvic and sciatic discomfort
• Legs and feet are massaged using light to moderate pressure to support circulation and reduce swelling
